I'm not one of those pussy type girls who is afraid of horror movies and haunted houses. These things make me laugh and give me a shot of adrenaline, but not much else. I've never been afraid of a horror movie until I saw the Ring. Which is pretty fucking sad, considering that its only rated PG-13.

It's not like I've never seen other horror movies, too. I've seen all the slasher flicks and classics. I watched the Exercist during a storm in my basement all alone. I've seen Rosemary's Baby and Psycho. But when it comes to the Ring...I am an absolute pussy.

I see the movie, like the other 75% of the United States, and I'm scared shitless now when ever I see static on a TV screen or hear the phone ring when I'm home alone. So of course, like anyone other normal person, I read the book.

Thank you Koji Suzaki, you scared me shitless once again.

I couldn't go to sleep last night, I was so afraid. I read a 200 page book and watched some show on the History Channel on sex in the Victorian Era. Now I know that vibrators were invented in the early 1900s. Anyways, when I went upstairs to go to sleep, I found myself even more freaked out as before.

I kept hearing things and seeing things. So I did what any normal 15 year old does when she's afraid.

I go into my 13 year old brother's room and ask him to let me sleep on the floor.

Getting my brother Kevin up was a trial. I had to shake him awake for three minutes before he even opened his eyes. He questioned why I wanted to sleep on his floor, and I told him that I was freaked out, so please let me stay. He agreed, saying that I had to move his Magic cards out of the way.

It was funny in the morning, and we laughed about it alot. I never afraid of anything, so me going into Kevin's room to sleep was really unexpected. And also, the only thing he could remember in the morning is him telling me to move his cards. Which is about the most random comment.

Someone comes into your room and wakes you up. They tell you that they are afraid. You tell them to move your stuff.

That shouldn't be funny to anyone, but Kevin and I found it hilarious.

So what else am I afraid of? Mirrors, spiders, and the movie End of Evangelion. Ugh...
