July 19, 2003 - 10:27 p.m. Last night wasn't that bad. Actually, the guy was pretty cool. His name was Brian and he brought over video games and his sketchbook. His drawings were excellent, even if I don't exactly like his style (too G.I Joe and Americanized). But I played Halo for the first time, and sucked. I needed some serious help; it's probably the most difficult game I've ever played. But maybe I'm just not used to the controls on X-box. The only bad thing about Brian is that he must have thought that I was extremely stupid. He narrated everything, even the things I already know. He X-box plays music; I look at the bands he has on there. I ask for Weezer and he says, "I have 'Hash Pipe'," and so he puts that on. I know about Weezer, I know their music. And dammit, I wanted to hear 'The Sweater Song'. And then he tried to explain a LAN to me. Jesus Christ, I know what a LAN is. Needless to say, we fought a lot. Our moms say it's because we're so much alike. We hada pretty good time though. Not that we would ever admit it. Work was alright. I only made ten dollars in tips. That sucked. And even though I told Jill when I worked, she still decided to make her party this Friday. So make that three parties I'm missing. I feel the need to cry on someone's shoulder.
