Me: I dont beleive Judas is in hell
Some Dude: ?
Some Dude: then where
Me: well, lets put it this way, someone had to betray christ
Me: and judas felt really bad about it, or he wouldnt have committed suicide
Some Dude: soooo, where is he?
Me: I'm not sure
Me: I think he got a second chance
Me: it wasnt like he was hitler
Some Dude: well...
Me: Judas didnt hate anyone except himself
Me: and that should be pitied
Some Dude: that's a sin
Me: no, thats a mental illness
Some Dude: you're supposed to love yourself
Me: could you love yourself after you did something so horrible as condemming your best friend to death?
Some Dude: ...no...
Me: We've all betrayed Jesus, Judas only did it in a more literal sense
Some Dude: true
Some Dude: i didn't know you were so deep
Me: you never bothered to figure out
Alright, I guess this is my serious entry of the day. I've given a few of my friends the hell test, and all of them have escaped with nothing but Purgatory, which mean they are all liars. But anyways. The Some Dude up there got in the 4th level, even thought I wouldn't have suspected him (he's a good boy).
Anyways, we were talking about it, and he mentioned the ninth level, and that it was sort of freaky. I don't beleive in hell, and I don't believe that Judas went to hell.
I asked another friend about it, and even though he's atheist, he gave me his opinion that if there was a hell, then Judas would be in there.
I don't get why though. It's one of my major questions. Judas made one mistake, and it was a huge one. But just because he betrayed Jesus doesn't mean that he was a bad friend. There was a trial afterwards, and Jesus was condemmed as guilty by members of his own faith. Are they in hell, too?
And then there's the suicide thing. Everyone says that people who commit suicide go to hell. What the fuck is that? These people have no self confidence, no love for themselves. They take their life as a final sign of desperation, and they go to hell? Bullshit.
Alright, let's say you did something horrible to your best friend. You couldn't take it back, and you best friend was going to die. And suddenly, nothing matters but that your only friend is going to die at your hands. You realize that every rumor you've heard about your friend was wrong, and that you were set up to be a pawn in a much larger setup. So you think, the least thing you could do is to end it together.
I don't know. I want to hear some other people's opinions.
