Some might argue that watching MTV is pointless. I disagree. Just look at all the good information I got from watching TRL today.
1. There are things worse than death. Seeing Uptown Girls is one of them.
2. Madonna's come a long way. When she started off, she was famous for her mismatched style of black netting and rosaries(she created this style because she was too poor for designer clothes). Now she's wearing the Gap.
3. All members of Good Charlotte should be shot.
4. So should Lizzie McGuire. If she can pass for an Italian pop star, I'm black. And Japanese.
5. The front man of Rancid is working on a song with Pink. Wow, there goes my respect.
6. Even though a vow of silence is supposed to promote constant prayer, it's alright for monks to get online to check the scores on the baseball game.
7. Justin Timberlake still hasn't realized that he is a homosexual.
8. One out of every three commercials are about tampons. I'm a girl, and I don't even get that. Is there really big competition between the companies that make feminine hygine products?
9. People on TRL scream at everything. Maybe it's because the music is so shitty.
10. No one who goes to see Tomb Raider cares about Angelina Jolie's Oscar.
11. When you think about it, all those anti-drug and smoking commercials are kind of scary.
12. They say "do it" a lot in the Six Flags commercial. "Do the water! Do the rides! Just do it!" And because I'm so immature, I actually think this is hilarious. Good God, I've watched too much Beavis and Butthead.
13. Do you remember when rap msuic was political and symbolized the hardships of the poor black kids just trying to survive? Niether do I.
14. Christina Agulera wear more makeup than most clowns. I bet little kids are afraid of her.
